Genealogical research like any other scientific field aims to provide verifiable results based on interdisciplinary knowledge. It combines historical data to provide the appropriate tools to find, read, understand, and contextualize online psychic reading sources.

What is genealogy?

Genealogy is the science that deals with the documentary establishment and reconstruction of kinship ties that exist between members of one or more families.

The results of this activity can also be represented through the help of some paper or digital information, such as the genealogical tree. The tree is equivalent to a graph for the representation of the different generations and relative branches of the same family. The term by extension is also used in common language as a synonym of lineage.

How does genealogy work?

From the genealogical point of view, the calculation of the degree of relationship is carried out according to the criteria laid down in articles of the civil code. In concrete terms, it is vital to calculate the relationship that binds two components of a given family.

The descendants are all individuals who, through successive generations, come from a particular subject. The collaterals are all descendants of a common progenitor excluding those in a straight line.

There is no kinship between spouses but one of conjugation and it ceases (with the affinities and relevance related to it) with the dissolution of marriage.

The law does not recognize the bond of kinship beyond the sixth grade. This does not affect or deny the genealogical and biological relationship between people with a degree of relationship higher than the sixth. However, it eliminates any legal effects like the right of succession and marriage between blood relatives.

Why do people use genealogy?

When it comes to online psychic reading, people use genealogy to trace their origins several generations into the past. There is an equal degree of order between members at different levels of the family. For instance, a closer look into genealogy can reveal the so-called great-uncle.

With genealogy, it becomes possible to discover the fourth-degree relationship and can be calculated considering that between brothers there is a second-degree relationship. Two additional degrees of kinship is in a direct line between one of the brothers and his nephew.

What are the benefits of genealogy?

Genealogy provides a glimpse into an individual's familial past. It allows individuals to trace inheritances, validate stories, find inheritable diseases, and find living relatives.

Genealogical research involves a methodology, divided into four stages, which must be followed systematically. First, documents are acquired that provide genealogical data (dates of birth, death, baptism, marriage and relative names), by searching the archives of the civil, parochial or state status.

Subsequently, the genealogical data of interest are obtained and proceeded to their elaboration: classification of the data and construction of the different lines of ancestry and descent. Finally, a text is drawn up, which illustrates the methodologies adopted during the research and the sources consulted, which also includes a genealogical table on which the results obtained are reproduced.

During the research, the genealogist may encounter several problems, which very often are caused by the lack of genealogical data relating to the subjects of interest.
